Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp oil
- 4 whole wheat buns
- 100gms minced beef
- 1 large onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- Salt and black pepper
- ½ medium green bell pepper
- ½ cup tomatoes
- ½ tsp curry powder
- 4 slices halloumi cheese
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- In a medium pot, add oil and add minced beef. Mix well until it changes color.
- Add onions and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes then add bell peppers,tomatoes and spices. Cook for 5 minutes and place aside.
- In a pan, add oil and place halloumi slices in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the halloumi for 2 minutes or until lightly browned then flip and continue to cook for 2 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
- Create a hole in the buns and fill it with minced beef and halloumi on top. Drizzle some mayonnaise and top with parsley.
Serve and enjoy.
