Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 4 whole wheat buns
  • 100gms minced beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Salt and black pepper
  • ½ medium green bell pepper
  • ½ cup tomatoes
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • 4 slices halloumi cheese
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  • In a medium pot, add oil and add minced beef. Mix well until it changes color.
  • Add onions and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes then add bell peppers,tomatoes and spices. Cook for 5 minutes and place aside.
  • In a pan, add oil and place halloumi slices in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the halloumi for 2 minutes or until lightly browned then flip and continue to cook for 2 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
  • Create a hole in the buns and fill it with minced beef and halloumi on top. Drizzle some mayonnaise and top with parsley.

Serve and enjoy.
