Ingredients

  • 3pcs Green bananas
  • 200g Sirimon Paneer
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 Pc Red onion
  • 1 tsp Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Oil

FOR THE SAUCE

  • 1/4 cup Yellow Mustard
  • 1/3 cup Peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/3 cup water

Cut the bananas in half, removing the ends

Bring water to a boil and place the banana in the pot till cooked then set aside to cool peel the banana and mash it

Grate the paneer and mix it to the banana

In a pan toast the onions until translucent with the spices

Add the coconut milk, onion, coriander and spices to the banana and paneer and mix

Form small balls with all the mixture and set them aside in the refrigerator to rest

After 10 minutes take them out and pan fry them until crispy

SAUCE:

Add sugar and water in a pan and simmer add the peanut butter and mustard and whisk until combined then let it cool

Once cooled serve drizzled on top of the matoke paneer or use as a dip
